Today is the conclusion to the Quote Challenge, and I’d like to thank Nam H Nguyen for the opportunity to participate. Sadly, again today I will not be nominating anyone, the pressure to find others within the blogosphere to nominate is becoming more and more dreary.
Some inspirational quotes from a man who is hard to ever forget, John F. Kennedy, it has been pressing on the mind as of late. The fact that our world is so damning and ostracizing of those of whom are different, but yet without change we would not be here.
Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future.
We all grow, change, and expand beyond our means every day. Without change, and looking to better ourselves, we would still be in the traditions of wearing clothing such as corsets, petticoats, and suits all year round. We would still have slavery, prohibition of liquor, and women would still be repressed. Change is what we are, it is what makes us so unique. To forgo change is to become stagnant.
Efforts and courage are not enough without purpose and direction.
In order for change to happen, we must not just make an effort and have the courage to do what needs to be done but we must do so with purpose. We must ensure that the direction of our change is for the better of all citizens, so that our purpose and our efforts are not in vain. We must move with great courage so that our strides will be remembered and revered.
