Today is the day where we celebrate Halloween, a time of watching eerie and spooky movies, family movies get a little weird and kids run up to your door screaming, “Trick or Treat!” As such, we generally try to find fun or creepy costumes that would be befitting of the traditions of remembrance to the day of the dead.
Sadly, Halloween went from a fun ghoulish day for kids and children of all ages into a highly popularized holiday for people to pull pranks and dress in such a fashion that would make my great grandmother roll in her grave. I don’t like thinking of that aspect of halloween.
This year I’m dressing up my kids as a Ladybug and a Butterfly! Hope you all have wonderful fun with your halloween plans! I’ll do my best to get fun pictures of the girls in their costumes to share with you all.
