Salutations blog reader, and welcome to my little dark place where I hide my thoughts. I wanted to briefly introduce myself so that you might get a better understanding of the writer behind the page.
I am a wife, mother, and homemaker. I take care of my family to the best of my abilities and do my best to pave the way for my children to grow and learn. I happen to be a little overzealous sometimes with my protective nature, and have had times where my methods were called into question due to the overprotective nature I possess.
I also happen to be very organized and tidy in my own way. I’m a little quirky in that sense I suppose, because dirt seems to drive me insane. I am an avid believer in a clean home, though I also love to cook. The two seem to clash but somehow I make it work.
I was a giant book worm prior to having children but now I can never seem to find the time. Sad, because I once used to read so much that during my school years I was given such praise. I even won a book reading contest and was awarded with $50 to a book store of my choosing.
My greatest downfall is also considered my greatest asset. I am highly opinionated and very morally inclined. I tend to make my personal views widely known to people, whether or not it is asked for. I also love calling people out on their BS because I firmly believe in doing right by others, especially those you love.
Now a little about what my blog is about. Well… It is really just going to be a random collective of my thoughts and what I am going through. How mundane, right? Seems people do it all the time and I thought to myself one day, “Why don’t I do that? I have thoughts and experiences all the time!” Thus this blog came into being. As a stay at home mom who takes care of my family and really don’t have a job aside from being mom, I figured this might be a bit more of a fun way to spend my free time.
I want to say thank you, dear blog reader, for visiting. This is the end of my little introductory post.
i found the green jarred my eyes. i’ll have to copy it and past to word, as i’d like to read it.

Though I tend to be more open minded with my bias 🙂 I don’t think being oppinionated iis really a problem at all. If people take offence at your oppinion, then they’re conceited…or politically correct.
Neither of those are the best things to be defined as.

I used to literally read anything and everything from historical books about Egypt to nonsensical books like Dr Suess books and a wide variety inbetween haha.
My opinions tend to get me in trouble, so I’ve started keeping them nicely wrapped up in my blog where none of the softer folk can get their panties ruffled, if you know what I mean.
I agree, neither is good. Conceited folk tend to think they’re constantly and always right about everything because they think they have all the answers to all of lifes questions. I’m always willing to banter or debate, and if ones argument is persuasive and informative, I’ll happily yield. Those who are politically correct though, they make me kind of sick to my stomach.

I know exactly what you mean. I was reading roughly three books a week during university, and I loved it – although I tended to slack near the end.
I think I’m very oppinionated actually, though I do try to keep my mind open, I won’t hesitate to debate either.
Political correctness stifles debate, social advancement in the name of equality. Unfortunately, humans define themselves and others by their differences. It’s a little sad how we’re so unwilling to acknowledge that. 😦

I believe we ought to do away with political correctness. It is not a tool but merely a weapon used to divide and conquer a populace. It creates a border between the people that otherwise would not of existed or even be thought of.

Hi there SunkenThought! Sorry I took so long to come over and say a proper thank you for your deciding to throw caution to the wind, and follow me over in “My Attic” but I’ve kind of been on a little hiatus. Still, I’m grateful to have you as one of my unfortunate… uh… fortunate readers. Not to worry though, as I’ve often told my many followers (I can now count them on one hand!) the real laughs will be there any day now—I hope. In the meantime I hope you won’t mind if I steal, I mean… read your blogs material. 😀

LOL. It’s a pleasure, although just in case, I may bring along an exterminator on occasion. Anything with more than 4 legs usually throws me into a panic. Damn octopus webs.

An exterminator might be just the thing you need to keep you safe then! Pretty certain there are many hiding here that have more than 4 legs, lurking in the shadows.

Did Paul bring out those dad-gummed octopi again? I swear everywhere that man goes an octopus or two weaves it’s damnable webs all over my blog! Tell him to leave those lil buggers at home when he visits or you will be inundated with them!

Oh I love reading about the blogger, and what the blog is going to be about. I also prefer blogs that get “random” right. There’s so much to think about & to thoughtfully share in one’s life, and more fun to post on an ongoing basis. We all have grow and glow points, and a blog is a great place to read about and write about them.
What’s more…You sound like you have a good bit of moxey. Self-confidence, self-assurance, cool-headedness, and pluckiness. I looked moxey up, because I use it a lot when referring to fearless people. In my opinion, I feel you should hit us with your best shots, and see how we learn to love you for it!
