Blogger Recognition Award

So I was shocked and amazed a day or so ago when I was nominated for this award. Shock and awe would aptly describe my feelings towards being given this award, to be honest. I figured awards like this were meant for… You know, good bloggers! Not whackados like me. Much thanks to Suze for nominating me, I freakin’ adore that woman.

Enough gushing and onto the rules, I suppose!

The rules for this award are:

  • Thank the blogger who nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
  • Write a post to show your award.
  • Attach the award to the post.
  • Give a brief story on how your blog started.
  • Give a piece of advice or two to new bloggers.
  • Select 15 other blogs you want to give the award to.
  • Comment on each blog and let them know you nominated them and provide a link to the award post you created.

Well, considering I’m pretty sure Suze already nominated anyone I would have nominated myself, I’m not following that rule. Anyone who would like the award is free to accept it instead! HA! Take that rule!

Okay so I’m supposed to thank Suze, which I think I already did, but in case I didn’t, thank you Suze you adorable person you! yay

I’m already writing a post, and attached the award so I guess that’s done already… Hmm… A brief story on how my blog started… Lets see…

My Story

One day in a far far away world, a little person asked a big person about making a new world in a far and distant land. In this story the far far away world will be called Facebook, and the new world in the distant land will be WordPress. While traipsing through Facebook and mumbling and bumbling about with the little person’s friend, they asked how they came to be so infamous and amazing. The friend told the little person about this amazing place where they could shout their thoughts out into the big wide universe of worlds where many saw their words, and this place was called WordPress! The little person was amazed and awestruck at the idea of such a place where many people could hear the words of ones insanity, and thus the new little planet of Sunken Thought emerged.

Advice

Be yourself but remember, don’t be daft. If you’re daft, I recommend not blogging because daft people are more likely to clash than to mingle. Also, live long and prosper and “wibbly wobbly timey whimey”. That is all.

Okay, so yea, feel free to nominate yourselves through this post if ya wanna, otherwise, I’m tired and my brain function is dwindling. Love you crazy people, and hope you had an amazing weekend!
